The data source will be medical images (collected at Landspitali, the leading hospital in Iceland) and histological data gathered from the other partners of the SINPAIN consortium. The final goal of the RU team is to develop a patient-specific multiscale profile capable of accurately describing cartilage and bone conditions. The profile will be used to support the decision-making process and the customizing of tissue engineered solutions.
