SINPAIN Meeting: Shaping the Final Phase of the Project
The SINPAIN consortium gathered in Davos, Switzerland, on 25–26 June 2026 for its 8th Progress Meeting, bringing together project partners to review recent achievements and coordinate the final phase of the project. Discussions covered progress across the project's scientific work packages, including the development of advanced therapeutic approaches, in vitro and in vivo validation activities, regulatory aspects, and digital tools supporting osteoarthritis research.
With the project approaching its final stage, partners focused on consolidating results, preparing scientific publications, and planning the remaining project milestones. The consortium also discussed key exploitable results and communication materials that will help maximise the project's long-term impact.
The meeting was rounded up with a visit to the AO Research Institute (ARI) laboratories. The tour offered first-hand insights into ARI's research infrastructure and its work in regenerative orthopaedics, biomedical development, and advanced laboratory models supporting the development of innovative therapies for musculoskeletal diseases.
Reflecting on the meeting, Project Coordinator Damien Dupin (CID) said: "The discussions in Davos highlighted the strong collaboration across the consortium and the steady progress made throughout the project. Our priority now is to bring together the partners' expertise and ensure that the project's results are translated into meaningful outcomes for the research community and, ultimately, for patients."
A big thank you to Sibylle Grad, Zhen Li and their team for having us!
